OK I have another question, I have an extensive background in various martial arts, do you think there is a demand for self defense classes, (on camposol) I can teach beginners to intermediates, I wouldn't class myself as a professional, but I can get 99% of people to a decent level. I dont mean the traditional Karate or Tae Kwon Do, I mean stuff that works on the street, do what needs to be done, and end the fight quickly.

Stuart
There is a gym on Camposol not sure if they haven’t offered similar in the past but there really isn’t much violent crime here - I’ve never seen anything reported.
He He, not having much luck here am I, Oh well, I will just have to keep thinking,
as I said I appreciate the feedback

Join the Facebook sites “ Preguntas Y Mas Murcia” & “Camposol”. That is where all the information is about daily life here. If you will need to work here it can be very difficult but if you just want something to keep you occupied there is lots of voluntary stuff you can do which could in the long run give you a business idea. There are the gardening groups for each sector, several dog charities, a cancer charity, Age Concern & FAST which is a first response for anyone injured or ill etc.

With all the spaniards in high positions corrupt ,stating a business will cost you loads in bribes. There are loads of builders here on Camposol, English,Spanish,Mexican, columbine etc The Spanish council will make sure that you work all the hours just to pay the numerous amount of Tax , you will make very little profit as there aren't people on Camposol that are flush ,some just survive because of all the local taxes .
Think again before starting a business , Camposol is designed and built for old people for peace and quite and tranquillity.

I live in the U.K. and have had a house in Spain for 15 years.. reading these comments it’s a wonder you would ever want to move to Spain! Yes the Spanish legal system is difficult to manage and they don't make it easy to set up a new business - it’s one of the reasons the economy and unemployment and are so bad, but and I just wanted to give you some encouragment and say you seem like you have the right attitude so don’t give up! If you integrate with the locals make an effort to learn Spanish and understand ‘how things are done’ I’m sure you’ll have a good a chance as anyone of making a success of what ever you do. Good luck!

Cheers Dimlow, I just fancy a change, I would rather try and fail than to have never tried at all.
I appreciate your comments too, thanks
