Hello ,, any hints or tips where to start our search for a holiday home We are visiting the area from14th May with view to finding our location for a holiday home / long stay We would like to feel part of a community and be within walking distance of amenities with a modest budget 馃檹 Than
Yes, I wrote myself a wish list/graph.
I put down all the important factors... No of beds/baths, Internet, wood fire, detached, etc etc.
Then I looked on the website for properties within our budget and ticked them off against my list until I had a list of 10 contenders. Then I made appts with the agents to see them all.
I kept an open mind on the location and we ended up somewhere we didn't even consider initially but we got everything on our list and more, so we are very happy.

Sorry if this sounds stupid but did you have to pay agents who helped you buy? I read somewhere a person was asked for 4% from a buyer that can鈥檛 be right ,, can it ?

She was very helpful. Spoke to her from the UK. She set up viewings for me fo when I visited, including properties from another agent. She set up appointments for me to see an English speaking solicitor and to open a bank account.
During my 4 day visit I had placed power of atourney, got a solicitor, my NIE was sorted, opened a bank account, offered on an agreed a price on a 1 bed apartment in Puerto de Mazzaron and 4 weeks later completed the purchase.
Sarah did not charge any fees at all for the service.

Thank you for posting Taking on board your recommendation and hoping to visit Mazarr贸n in a week or so We have not been to the area and are excited and looking forward to getting there to get a feel for the place

If you鈥檙e looking at camposol then use either mercers or blue med on camposol. Ask for lee fisher
