Latest article in El Pais talked about the extension to 26th and the POSSIBILITY of a further 15 days if required. As it is easter week here very little if any new news coming out, but if we do get another extension then so be it, better than being dead.

My estimate of the lockdown – ignoring what is said……

Wuhan lockdown lasted 76 days

Countries       first lockdown date       + 76 day could be

Italy                   09 March                               26 May

Spain                14 March                               31 May

France             17 March                                03 June

Germany          22 March                               08 June

UK                   23 March                               09 June

Does this make sense?

No.

Different countries, different population densities, different population mobility etc, etc.

Instead of speculating why not wait until there is an official announcement?

One of the most worrying aspects of the crisis has been the rumour mill, when silence except from those really in charge and in the know would be healthier.

Any lockdown change has to go to congress and be agreed . It’s still 26 April.
