Spectrum Radio news said extension till 6 May is now under consideration with the government. But although we are all looking forward to things getting back to normal, it could be literally fatal to try and lift restrictions too soon. So bear with it. We are not being asked to fight in the trenches for years!

No it's not true, it is a proposal by the Prime Minister, it will be discussed tomorrow with the Presidents of the autonomous communities and if they agree it will be discussed and ratified by congress on Thursday if they agree with it. Then it will be law, it looks like they are proposing to reduce the level of the lockdown over the coming months, proposals are in place on the Moncloa website covering May to October currently.

Sorry Cat47, I wasn't replying to your post, in fact it wasn't even showing when I replied, I guess there is a time lag from posting to appearance. I hope you don't think I was "having a go" as I wasn't :-).

No worries but thanks. You’re right about the delay factor on the site and occasional ‘it crossed in the post’ syndrome. I just didn’t want anyone to assume I was stating a fact when I was simply quoting what was supposedly ‘under consideration ‘.  😃
