My husband has recently been put on stations. He takes a rosuvastatin. We know that this is available in Spain under the brand name Crestor, but unfortunately he gets a severe skin rash with this brand. The UK variant supplied by the NHS causes no problems. We live between the Puerto and the UK and have been told the maximum amount that can be prescribed in the UK is 12 weeks. Does anyone know if it is possible to get more than a three month prescription before we leave the UK? Can anyone think of a way to get around the problem, as going back to the UK just to pick up some pills seems excessive.
