Hi

We have a well stocked Spar supermarket, hairdressers,  beauty salon, tobacconist, hardware store, medical centre and pharmacy. The local hospital is an 8 minute drive.

There is a small market on a Wednesday.

We also have 3 or 4 bars and a very popular Spanish restaurant.

There are Padel courts open year round and a municipal swimming pool which opens in July and August. Some of the communities have their own pools, it depends where you buy.

The Mar menor is a 10 min drive and the nearest med beaches are 15 / 20 mins away. There is public transport by bus, but it is new and not that frequent. To live here you really need a car

The village itself is a good mix of nationalities and nowadays more permanent residents than holidaymakers. Its busy in Summer, but not over run and peaceful in Winter.

No, its way too far and would be on country roads so no safe way, even for a keen walker. It would take over an hour depending how fit you are. We are 10 mins inland from San Javier by car.
