Car Hire from San Javier Airport

We normally fly into Almeria as our house is in Los Gallardos and we invariably use Avis both in Spain and the UK. But last month we flew to Murcia for the first time and used Centauro and they were great. They are off the airport but collect you in a minibus and it's about a 3 minute drive. For our car hire we used their premium option which is the most expensive but it meant no deposit, no credit card hold for insurance and getting the keys was very quick. They also gave us a choice of vehicles. There is a petrol station just beyond Centauro to bring the car back full and dropping off the car was quick and easy. They took us back to the terminal with no waiting. We'll no doubt do the Murcia route again and will use Centauro (particularly as Avis are not at the airport).

Thanks for your reply.  I'll definitely have a look at their site. I'd had a look at the few rental companies based at the terminal however was put off by the large deposit they required.

look at Flamenca cars... what they quote is what you pay...no hidden extras.

Hi, I always use Easyoption.com and never have any issues. Leave the car as you find it (inc fuel) and no hidden insurance extras like some companies

Thanks.  Are they based far from the terminal and do you need to leave a huge deposit.  Notice some of the rental companies are asking €1100 plus.  

No car is normally directly outside the airport in the car park. The rep normally meets you just outside the arrivals hall and walks you to the car
