Does anybody know if you have to physically be in Spain to get your "Residencia" "Pardon" etc sorted

as I work away a lot , so finding it hard to get back to Spain in these strange times we are in at the moment !

Or can you get it all sorted out through one of the companies based in Spain that can do it all for you for a fee of course !

or if your Lawyer has power of attorney and can sign any documents needed ?

Bit of a strange question but any answers / advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance of any help with this

Hi, we asked that same question re an attorney to sign on our behalf! However, we’ve been told that can’t happen as the newest form of residency is biometric. This means finger prints and photos, which obviously you’d have to be present for.
Getting back to Spain For our residency is proving to be a pain due to Covid and the quarantine rule!

No you have to be here. We had to personally go to the police station with our photos to have our finger prints taken for our card.

It is "I beg your pardon" - not you're - unless of course you are a pardon, in which case I stand corrected! :)

Just maybe, it should have been, “I beg your Padrón” as Househunter really needs one ! LOL
