As far as I know iberdrola do NOT charge different rates for residents ^ non residents.

We changed from Iberdrola to Nordic. The only electricity used in the house (no one there because of Covid) for the last 2 bills was the fridge and pool pump....Nordic was cheaper by approx €5 per bill. Have just checked the bills and there is no sign of a €5 per month/bill charge.....I will keep an eye on this and report back if it does appear.
We are going out on Friday and I requested Nordic to change from the FIXED to FLEX plan as it should be cheaper......only time will tell, I’ll have to compare to the same bill from last year.

Same as me most is 16 euros when I’m not in my Rebecca which includes standing charge etc.

Have just checked and there is a 5 euro charge if you go on the flexible rate, the other two rates no charge.

Be careful with reducing potencia - with 3.3kw supply you can run for instance a 1kw iron, a 1kw kettle, just abaout a 1.5kw water heater - and wait for the breaker to trip! add a fridge/freezer, any fans, aircon, tv....and with a smart meter it can be a bit tricky to turn the power back on.

We are on 3.3 and our monthly bill not being there with nothing switched on is between 16.53 and 19:49 euro. When we are there in the summer though not this year it is about 38 or 60 depending if we use the aircon

I have a 3.3 Kw supply & only pay around 14.50 euro per month with no usage.
Depending on the number of days in the month.
Why are you paying so much more ??
Have you some extras like insurance etc on your bill ??
Might be worth checking ??

Hi just had a look at my bill potencia 3.3kw x 30 days x 0,139863 kw = 13,84 euro servicios otros conceptos 30 días x 0.026557 = .80 iva 3,07 total 17,71 there is nothing else on the bill thanks jackie

It also says consumo 24,5,2020 - 23:6,2020 0kw
