It is worth looking at one or two if in good areas to see what they are like . Thanks for the message, very helpful.

I think you need to stay on one or two of the golf resorts and judge for yourself....everyones opinion is different especiLly from those who do not live on a golf resort.

Look at holiday rentals on Mar Menor Golf, Roda Golf ...maybe La Torre and Hacienda de Riquelme although they are a bit further from the coast....good luck.

Hi, have a look around San Pedro Del Pinitar. We are a similar age group and find it's nice to be away from the livelier places but easily accessible should you want to. Nice town that's easy to walk into, we have visited many times in winter and function is pretty much normal. As you know it's also easy access for the shopping centre in Los Alcazares, Xenia boulevard and/or Torrevieja

Hi, we live just off Avenida De Las Salinas (not too far from Amigos bar) if that helps. Sorry, I am not sure what the area is called ! There is a lovely walking area onto the salt flats and boardwalk along the beach heading North. Alternatively in the opposite direction, approx 20 Min walk to the mud bath ( banos de lodo) and the Mar Menor. Lovely!

Ok thanks, I am new to this area as we have never visited the only places which you mentioned that we have been to is Torrevieja, la Zenia and Cabo Roig . Hence I am keen to know more, when I look online a lot of properties are new builds and to be honest could be anywhere. So I need to find good estate agents that focus on this area .
