The advice is correct , see jims guides .under 183 days ,uk tax , also its only the gain that can be taxed ,and if that gain is used to buy property in spain ,then no tax to pay .by the the time you fill in return it will be 2022 .

To put mind at rest contact a murcia sol. On pretence of buying home  . Then slip in the question of cgt ,they will normally respond with advice  , free of charge .

Do not use debbie for cgt, , there is a gestor in mazarron for residency ,cheaper too .

Thankyou Oink, I was beginning to think I was being distrusted. I too am member of both forums, and spent many days pouring over Jim,s Guides. 183 days in a year is the magic figure, regardless of a property sale or withdrawing an annuity.

Think you mean Murcia. Mercia was an ancient kingdom in England. 😁.
