Has anyone in this forum recently driven to the UK via France?
We have just had our Santander to UK ferry cancelled and as we have to get back for medical reasons we need to drive through France to the tunnel.
Latest info we can get (French embassy unresponsive) is still needing a PCR and the reason to travel document.

Entry into France from the UK will only be possible if you have a pressing reason to travel. You will need to show a negative RT-PCR or antigen test result, carried out less than 48 hours before departure, and you will be required to self-isolate for seven days on arrival.

We've just completed the reverse journey - see my post:
As you will see, we had completed the attestation form, but we weren't asked for it. You will need proof of a negative PCR to enter France and then an antigen test or similar to enter the UK.
Remember that prior to entering the UK you will need to purchase a Day 2 & Day 8 test kit (around £120 per person) and provide proof that you have purchased this at UK border control; and then when you enter the UK you will also need to quarantine for 10 days.

Great, thank you. We’ve done all of this except the PCR which is booked for Friday in Alicante as we leave.

Looking for some advice on travelling from La Manga to Calais. We are considering leaving early and came by ferry from Bilbao but unable to get an earlier booking changed from the 1st December. Thanks
