Hi, I’ve just received notification from my electricity provider of impending increases from June 1st......I’m pretty sure this is correct but just wondering if anyone else has received same/similar notification....

Thanks...

Energy Nordic.......the email said the increase is coming in for all electricity providers, not only Nordic.

Well Nordic Energy would say that wouldn't they.

No notification from Iberdrola / Curenegia as yet.

Roland,

what do you mean by ‘Nordic Energy would say that wouldn’t they’......

Do I pick up some disdain for Energy Nordic?

Mick72.......yes you are right they did say they would not be increasing the cost of the electric.....I suppose my query was to find out if other people received a similar email......which you did....

Thanks..

I really cannot understand why anyone would post about "an email notifying price increases" when the email said the opposite for that provider!

Causing alarm and dismay.

PeterC,

No not causing alarm and dismay......the email is information about a nationwide increase in tariffs, something driven by the Spanish government and distributors....Energy Nordic was informing us that they are not increasing their tariffs.......mind you very few suppliers will absorb an increase and not pass it on to the customers, so I suppose eventually we will all have to pay a little more....

I read the OP & thought the same but refrained from commenting.

Though I read the post several times I still thought I was reading it wrong.
