I have just received an email from the Murcia Town Hall. Unfortunately it's all in Spanish and my Spanish is at best basic. I have paid my non residents tax and council tax so don't have a clue what it's about.

"EL PERIODO DE PAGO EN VOLUNTARIA DEL IMPUESTO SOBRE BIENES INMUEBLES DE NATURALEZA URBANA COMENZÓ EL 01 DE MAYO y FINALIZA EL 05 DE JULIO DE 2021.

Para los recibos domiciliados en 1 PLAZO la fecha de cargo en cuenta de dicho recibo será el 21/junio/2021, y de 2 PLAZOS los días 21/junio y 04/octubre de 2021.

CONSULTE EL IMPORTE DEL RECIBO DESDE CASA:

A través de nuestra Oficina Virtual Tributaria (https://amt.murcia.es) puede consultar sus recibos domiciliados y el importe que será cargado en su cuenta.

Can anyone help please?

Hi, Google translate says "THE PERIOD OF VOLUNTARY PAYMENT OF THE TAX ON REAL ESTATE OF URBAN NATURE BEGAN ON MAY 1ST and ENDS ON JULY 5, 2021. For direct debit bills in 1 TERM, the date of debiting said receipt will be 21 / June / 2021, and 2-TERM on 21 / June and 04 / October 2021. CHECK THE AMOUNT OF THE RECEIPT FROM HOME: Through our Virtual Tax Office (https://amt.murcia.es) you can check your direct debits and the amount that will be charged to your account.".

Thank you for the replies. I did use the Google translate, but as the Town Hall don't usually send messages to me at this time of year, I was worried that it was something new. Basically it was telling me that my ibi will be taken from my bank on June 21st.

Always assuming that you have set up a direct debit for this, as these are the dates for everyone who has set up a direct debit and not personally directed to you.
