Hello all.

We have been living in Los Alcazares/ Los Narjeos since Jan.

We have found that our area (very close to 'the strip') is now very quiet.... almost to the point of deserted.

Our 11yr old son is at Las Claras school and I was wondering if you lovely people knew what areas are good for all year living with children. We would like our son to connect and be able to play with other children and so are hoping to have you could tell us good areas to look at to buy/ rent

Thanks so much in advance.

Los Narejos is, as I guess you know, is the British end of town, with a senior age group profile, and in winter its quiet, especially with the Eu wide Schengen 90 day rule.

(Tho' if the Spanish and French governments are successful they may be able to make a home owning exception to that rule)

The old town is where the Spanish live and its much busier. Each morning there are large numbers of children of all ages on their way to school and coming home each afternoon. That is where the children can make most friends.
