Check amazon.de usually cheaper than .es and postage just the same. Never had a problem with deliveries and there are many local places for returns.

I agree I tend to use Amazon.de.  I recently bought something from .de and it was cheaper than Spanish amazon even though the delivery was a bit more expensive!

We get our smaller packages sent to our Best Wishes  box, larger stuff we get delivered to our home address (many of them) and being a Prime account holder most are free postage and many arrive next day and that can be on a Sunday as well .

Don't know if still true but l signed up for Prime on Amazon.es 2 years ago and l'm only paying 3.99€ as opposed the £7.99 I paid back in england....

...

Yes that's true I found the same. It's brilliant. Often get items the following day depending on what time you place the order. You can use Seur, Correos or the Amazon delivery on ckers and there's usually no charge for postage. Great service.

Of course, why order from Amazon.U.K. and pay excessive delivery charges and possible taxes now. There are many things that can not be transported from the U.K. and you have to order from Spain. When the large Amazon warehouse at Corvera opens deliveries to this area of Spain will probably be quicker.

Great advice. Amazon DE also have the English language option unlike the ES version.

Amazon.es - English version available. Set your computer translation programme to Always Translate to English. Hope this helps.

Hi

We use Amazon.es and Amazon.de all the time. I signed up for Amazon Prime on the .es site - €36 per year - bargain as I was paying £72 per year in UK.

We tend to have Amazon deliveries every few days - sometimes they are delivered by courier and others by Correos. No need to worry about changing accounts as you log in with the same details whatever site you are on.

I have found that if you use the Amazon App (on Android) there is no English option but my Spanish reading is definitely improving because of that. However, on the Amazon website there is obviously the option to have English.

I know a lot of people do not like Amazon, but since we moved to Spain last September it has just become a way of life :)

I do agree - would be lost without it. I didn't know the app doesn't feature English but it can be Google translated if you have any problems. Thanks for telling me.

I've just bought something from .es but I checked .de as well. The price was the same but delivery was 15 Euros from .de and 7 Euros from .es. This was from an Amazon marketplace seller which probably accounted for it.

Also, in case you don't know, the ASIN number is the same on all Amazon sites. So, if you find something on one of them and want to check the same product on another, scroll down to find the ASIN (in the product details). Then copy and paste to the search bar of another Amazon site to compare price and postage. Saves a lot of time!

When you place the order you can select to have your parcel delivered to a local hub. I do this if I know I might not be at home on the delivery day. There will be a list of those nearest to you and you can select.

I do it all the time, first name terms with the delivery guys....😂. You can also use the German and other European amazons with no extra charges. If you need something from the uk amazon it now takes ages and can be very expensive and a lot of things are no longer available.

Yesterday tried to buy from  A.de and was told i now had to have a .de account and new Prime charge. I entered Chat with one of their agents and he confirmed above, If you have a .co.uk account and prime then it no longer applies when buying from other Amazon entities. I have told them that if this is correct then i will cancel my Prime renewal.
