Hi. I am looking to buy a used car to leave at the airport. I would appreciate any advice on what documentation should come with it and any other advice or tips people have.

There is a lot of conflicting and out of date information on line regarding the importation of a car from the UK. Can anyone help me find the current requirements for this. I bought a place in La Union last year and would like to import my second car here to keep at Alicante airport. The car is an 11year old Peugeot 508 diesel. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi I’m trying to close a bank account 

But it’s impossible 

I have been told that there is a block on the account so I can not zero it 

Until it’s zero I can’t close 

In the mean time charges are being put on 

I’m so flustrated as I’m in the uk the bank has had so much money from commissions it’s day light robbery 

We don’t owe anyone anything 

Has anyone else heard of this m

Is it just a way of getting more money from you 

I'm looking at a villa but don't know anything about la Union areas bars, restaurants anything to do? Living somewhere new I wouldn't know anything if I've chosen the right place my Spanish is poor.

We have sold our property in La Union

And want to shut down our bank account 

Our yearly tax normally comes from the account at the beginning of December 

Is there any other way I can find out what we owe and how to pay now we won’t have an account 

I don’t want to leave our account open till December as I don’t want utilities still be taken when we have already finalised the payment s

We are leaving furniture but we have a new Webba barbecue and lovely plates and ornaments that we don’t want to leave behind so it’s not a full load

Can anyone help please 

I have for years paying my annual tax through my solicitor 

It’s worked really well until this year 

The solicitor now tells me she has been charged for my payment sent from my uk bank 

She asked I sort the tax out at the uk end 

I have explained that I’ve always been charged a fee for sending money to Spain

The bank have told me there is nothing to do at the uk end and they do not have anything to do with what my solicitor s bank charges her 

We’ve always had a good service from her from the past 17 years but I have to say she’s being rather rude towards us and says she has no issues from other uk clients and insists I sort the tax out  but I carnt my bank havnt a clue about her bank changes 

Can anyone help or surgest anything I may be missing 

I’m considering using a new solicitor too

I found a young owl that had been hit by a car and killed,  while out walking early this morning. 

I have been advised to contact an animal help centre to advise them where I found the owl, because they may want to move the nest, to prevent any more dead owls. 

Any advice or details of such would be welcome. 

So far told to contact policies local.

Before Covid, I went to the office opposite health centre to get my car license form. I was given a print out to take to bank where I would pay. I stood in queue outside office and waited. Now I heard you need to make an appointment. How do I do that?
