Thanks for the advice, yes I did hear that and thought the same, the whole of Europe would have to agree. All we can hope is that they all agree but doubtful

Totally agree that this is a Shengen rule, however, there are a number of countries who rely heavily on tourism and the money that brings in so Spain would not be the only country to support this initiative 

I would not rule this out at all although it may take a couple of years to actually happen

Yes think so. Unfortunately I'll have to go with the 90 day rule.
