Good evening all im wondering if anyone could tell me if there is much in the way of entertainments for children or in fact if there are many children living on camposol please
May be better to look at places on sector B which are nearer to the shops and places with entertainment for the children, there is also an amusement section in the old bowling alley, although I think that children will need to be accompanied, sector D is too far to walk and mostly quiet retired or semi-retired residents.

You don't see that many kids on Camposol ... Camposol doesn't even have as much as a swing park for kids ...as far as entertainment goes it's good if you are a adult but nothing for kids ..Camposol is not a holiday resort it is a urbanisation with 5,000 properties on it ..it is a big housing estate in the sun ....the majority of the occupants are OAPs .the nearest schools are 10 klm away I have had a place on Camposol for 12 years but I would still not recommend You move to Camposol with kids... nothing wrong with Camposol .. personally I would not advise anyone move to Spain with kids especially to one of the village's that you can buy a property in for( buttons).. I think property prices are the big attraction with the Burn outs living on a prayer that buy in Spain.. properties in the villages that surrounds Camposol are really cheap ...the unemployment between 16 to 25 year olds is almost 40%. and around 28% overall.
Not many kids there.
Very issolated
No park swing or green areas
No chance to make Spanish friends
No chance to learn Spanish from them
Sorry to be negative but a positive is it’s cheap ! On D it’s also miles from anywhere with little to no public transport.
We moved into a local village all amenities and school etc Spanish neighbours
You couldn’t pay me to live in camposol
I have lived in spain (bullas) for a year now and my children are stuggling with not being able to communicate well. They are home educated and we do learn spanish together but having special needs its a little hard on them. There is absolutly nothimg here for them, 1.45 mims ro the beach, no shopping centres or anythimg to keep them entertained. They are missing all the creature comforts of home like fish and chips and hearing english people lol. None of us want to return to the uk so this is the next best thing in my eyes

Hi Happymam
I recently bought on c sector but only as a holiday home (for now) one of my biggest concerns was if Camposol would be suitable as I also have children (also with additional needs)
It sounds like you are a bit out of the way where you are so as long as you can get around the local area then there is plenty to do for kids, You have the beach and port a 25 min drive away , there is also Condado which has sports, activities etc . In the height of the season there is the Camposol fiesta which has tons of things for children plus lots of activities aimed at children during Easter, Christmas etc
There are no parks etc set up but my boys love going on bike rides and exploring so plenty of space to do this.
If you have face book join the Camposol group. Through this group I discovered other families with children both living permanently/some holiday homes but its a wonderful way to connect and gain first hand knowledge and perhaps meet if you do move.
All the best
Ps Fish and chip shop on b sector :) x

Hi
We have a holiday home on sector D.
Thier are beaches within a 20 minute drive plus larger towns and other things to do etc.
Entertainment on camposol is more for the older generation, but plenty of bars etc on. A & B. The swimming pool at the country club 5 minutes drive away.
Dont be put off by the people who constantly moan on the forum.
If us new generation of purchasers listened to the people who try to put others off buying or moving to camposol.
It would eventually end up deserted.
We have 12 year old twins, didnt stop us buying. As children dont stay children for long & when they have grown up, you will have an estabished home in spain ready & waiting for you.
Get them to learn Spanish as a matter of priority - doesn't matter if you cant, but they must if they are to survive.
