My solicitor is Spanish & accompanied me to all appointments with Notary, for Autonimo & even opening a bank account so no need for a separate translator.

Ah ok Thanks. Can I ask what it is that you do?
I am looking into teaching English as a foreign language but that won't be for a little while at least.
Well done @dreamlife123.
Go for your dreams and donโt listen to any negativity. Set your goals and youโll do it no probs.
Weโre on D but not moved over yet. Hopefully by Xmas. Weโre 52 & 51 respectively and also have a few skills. Not worried at all and pretty sure I wonโt have too much bother finding work. Too many people on here try to worry people like you that plan to move over. Just pass their comments by and move on to the positive ones.
Good luck, youโll be fine ๐

Hi, thanks for the encouraging reply ๐ I'm 42 very soon and Adam's 44. He's predominantly a builder/tradesman but to be honest there's not much he can't do. He's also worked as a chef (very talented) and also a tattoo artist, having had a studio in Gran Canaria previously, so I'm not worried about him on the work front.
I myself haven't worked for some time, what with the children, but recently graduated with a BA (hons) Degree Child Development and Education, so am looking at TEFL or something education related. Not before the 'holiday' period has ended though ๐
We're prepared to take the rough with the smooth and make sacrifices/compromise if need be, but I agree, follow your dreams as life's too short to spend it on regretting the things you didn't do
Best wishes for a great future in Spain๐. Me and my hubby are hoping to move over in 18 months time, wish it was sooner.
We are coming over end of June to have a look around the areas surrounding murcia airport and will be visiting Camposol. If we smell bbq ๐๐๐ท๐ป๐นweโll know its your place and will come knocking on your door ๐๐ฅณ

Hi and thanks for replying ๐
Good luck with your search, I'm sure you'll find somewhere you love. We mulled it over for ages and just decided it's now or never!
Give me a shout nearer the time and I'll let you know how we're finding it, and if there are any burgers left ๐๐คฃ

HI
Just wanted to pop by and say hi and good luck with your impending move (exciting times!!) We bought on c sector at the end of last year (sadly at this moment in time as a holiday home) but were out a lot and looking forwards to getting to know some new faces, I also have children (9 year old twin boys) so if you have any questions or want to meet up just give us a shout :)
all the best to you and your family xx

Hi Nessy and thanks for replying.๐
We're really looking forward to getting over there. We have an 8 year old boy and 3 girls aged 2, 11 and 16, although we're still working on the eldest as she's undecided whether she'll want to stay in the UK with family or stay with us. Obviously we want her with us but teenagers are a different breed lol. I'm confident she'll be swayed.
I'll message you when we're over and see if you're around, thank you ๐
