Obviously dog lovers don't want to hear any negative comments about their best friend. The fact is dogs are aggressive by nature, like to bark at anything and anyone. How many times have you heard barking from a balcony when passing by ? How many times have you gone walking with your dog and seen another dog barking aggressively at your dog, or vice versa ? They would tear each other to pieces if they are not on the leash. If you live in a community, you see dog excrement everywhere. However this is minor issue compare to benefits of Spain. Apart from the weather and beaches, you won't get a penalty for parking your car for too long, or bailiffs taking your car or belongings if you fail to pay a penalty. No sewage dumped into their sees and rivers. No fishing dispute with France or problem selling their catch. No shortage of fruit & vegetable pickers or nurses or supermarket shelf fillers. Not many xenophobic voices demanding sovereignty. Having a government and people who appreciate the benefits of EU. Having a PM who is a saint in terms of honesty and integrity, and an Einstein in terms of intelligence compare to the ones in UK, present or soon to be elected.
