Driving from the UK to Spain with a 7yr old boxer.
My husband will be travelling to spain by road, he will be bringing our 7 year old boxer with him. Does anyone know which hotels let dogs stay overnight, from the UK, France to camposol

Just download the booking.com app.
You’ll be able to check any town you want to stay in. Most hotels are pet friendly but you can see that on the app too

We have used Ibis hotels, especially the one south of Madrid. It’s about 4 1/2 hours from Bilbao ferry then 4 hours the next day to Campasol/ Mazarrón. It’s not brilliant for dog walking as it’s on the edge of an industrial estate but if your dog is happy “street walking” on a lead it’s a modern clean comfortable hotel with large bedrooms & bar/restaurant attached. Also on site parking. Unfortunately they have just increased the nightly charge for dogs from €7 to €15 which is very expensive for a small dog. All Ibis hotels around the world apparently accept dogs.
Hope this may help

Holiday inn Dijon toison d'or
Hotel costabella girona.
Did thru booking.com and then had option to contact hotel and sent me a message sbout our dog. Within the hour it was all confirmed. They are both pet friendly hotels just no where on the site to state u bringing dog so I emailed to be sure. It's €18 for the dog. Both hotels have exercise areas and a 20 min walk outside main city.
Of all I researched these were the best in my opinion unless my budget was unlimited!!
Good luck. We chose these hotels as it's 8 hours driving per day across the 3 days
we did the above journey in July 2017. we have a 7 year old weimaraner. she managed well. we did not do many wee stops as we worked on basis if we went out for the day she would be left 5 hours without going out for a wee. it worked well for us.
