Hiya

We transferred money last year from the UK to A Place in the Sun Currency for a property in one transaction, so get a quote from them perhaps ?

Regards,

Ledgleigh.

I used wise 2 years ago,but if you read their policies,I think they put a big transfer fee on large transactions on  euro.

we used Currencies direct and had an excellent service, our account manager advised us the best time to buy our currency and saved us over €2000 by delaying our purchase by a couple of days plus they have a local office on Sector B and they are a worldwide company, speak with Carol I am certain that they will be able to give great advice

When we transferred money for our property we did it straight to the Solictor via smaller amount in your case maybe four transactions over four days

Thanks, Gray

It all feels quite worrying during this process, financially . We have given POA to our solicitor now who hopefully will deal with the purchase/legal side and set up all DDs and utilities in time for when we are due to arrive. That's the plan anyway ( with one or two bumps along the way I'm sure)

Thanks again

We bought a property in April and used A Place in the Sun Currency. We transferred the amount to them then they either transfer it to Euros and put it into your Spanish Account or to Solicitor straight away or you can leave it with them and wait for a better rate before exchanging it. No fees deducted and very easy to use.

Hi

We have recently used Place in the sun currency to transfer £ to our Sabadell account in Spain

It was the best deal around, last week

Try Currencies Direct if your changing into €. They offer very good rates.

Did you consider opening a Resolut account. They dont charge fees so you would just have to transfer tge amount you need to pay to Resolut...
