Hi never heard of REVOLUT so looked them up on the internet.

Data obtained by the Financial Times shows the Financial Ombudsman Service received 171 claims from UK customers against Revolut between January 1, 2015, and December 31, 2018

Revolut has sought to play down claims it has grown too fast in recent months. This year alone, the company has faced scrutiny from the UK Financial Conduct Authority, the UK Advertising Standards Authority and the Lithuanian parliament'

Just a couple of the comments I think I will stick with Transferwise.

Not sure why your bothered about that?  UK banks gets loads of complaints, fines etc..

Those FX companies take 200 pips commission.

Spanish banks charge you for bills and service charges.

Revolut is regulated by FCA allow you to transfer between currencies are much better rates just takes a few pips, use of debit card and can even pay monies to UK and Euro banks free of charge.  I just top it up from my UK bank when needed and keep some monies in the account in Euro to pay for my electric bill, work on the house etc, cash withdrawals.. but still working out how to change to use for my water since BANKIA charge me 15 EUR.

I have used them for over 3 years and to be honest it saved me lots of money.  The only time I couldn't was when I bought the house and they don't do very large FX transactions unless you used them for all your banking that I don't so had to pay at least another 1,000 Euro.  The FX companies usually take 200 pips from the actual market rate as commission.

The app on your phone is great so easy to use also.
