Of course they have not put their fibre optic cables into each property, nothing unusual there, BT do the same in the UK, they just connect to the existing phone cables. Telitec have laid their cables right up to our front gate where they connect to the original Telefonica cables. At least they do it at your house whereas BT in the UK do it way back up the street.

The starting price is not €40, its €29 and installation €69 which is far from high.
