Wanted: Antena parabólica satellite antenna

If you are hoping to pick up satellite TV here in Camposol with dish of only 80 centimeters, I fear you will be sadly disappointed.

Our dish is 1.8 meters and provides a good signal feed for most channels.

Thank you. Did you or sb else ever try with a smaller one? 

My other property has a 1.4 mtr dish. That works well too.

Many will tell you that anything less than a 1.8 mtr dish will give propblems.

My comments assume that you would be looking to pick up British content from the Astra satellites.  We are on the edge of the signal footprint here.

There are other satellites providing content from more local countries that may work with a smaller dish. I don't know that to be the case, but it seems logical to me,

Sorry, I don't know of anyone selling a satellite dish.

Most German content is via the Astra satellites, just as for the UK broadcasts. So Here in Camposol you would be on the fringe of the broadcast footprint for German TV too.
