Oh hell,! 456 new cases in Murcia yesterday.  Be very very careful folks.  Masks +++, and social distancing. Never had so many cases of covid in Murcia. 26 new cases in Mazarron. Please please be vigorous in sanitising etc. It would be a disaster if it got on to Camposol.

I expect to hear of new restrictions soon.

Stay safe.....

Can not believe that a group of expats ( women) all went to a Chinese restaurant in the port and had a jolly time. No social distancing or masks. I hope when the police arrived they fined all of those women, as well as the restaurant.  If you are on Camposol ladies, please self quarantine for 14 days. How very very selfish.

The worst problem with Coronavirus is the absolute stupidity of people.

Agreed.......

Flew back from Alicante a few days ago.

All very very quiet & MOST people following the rules.

Apart from a worrying number of people who were wearing their masks over their mouths but NOT over their noses !!!

Yup!

With the nose exposed, the mask is almost useless.

The numbers of people claiming that they have medical issues and that masks cause breathing difficulties & thus deliberately avoiding using them, is also worrying.

1. I was unaware that there were so many people with COPD on Camposol.

2. They would be PRECISELY the kind of person who would be most at risk from Covid-19

3. In a person with good respiration, masks do NOT interfere with breathing and O2 saturation levels, neither do they cause a build up of CO2 in the bloodstream. If one has good Oxygen saturation (95% +) then the CO2 levels are going to be normal.

I have Copd and wear a mask whenever necessary. It doesn't inhibit my breathing in the slightest that is just an excuse to justify idiocy.

These people are a danger to us all and should be treated as such.

Exactly. :) Thank you.

There are many people who have an aversion to wearing a mask. They don't like it, they find it uncomfortable, so they resist it.

They also grasp at any small excuse not to wear one.

Sadly, the Interweb is crammed with misinformation spread by idiots. The 'increase in Carbon Dioxide in the bloodstream' is one.

Other idiots grasp it and spread it further.

I understand the ladies were the 'ladies wot lunch' in the port. They seem to be all from Camposol. Which is very sad.

People use the weirdest of excuses, to try to get out of wearing a mask. The,  unable  to breathe, is a good one. No one seems to think if that was true we would hear of health staff working with masks on dieing in droves. Which would be the result if they could not breathe through them. Good on you for protecting others and hopefully yourself.

Yes it is true.

Reported on Murcia Today News, with pictures. The restaurant faces a massive fine that hopefully will be implemented.

I also hope the individuals concerned are also fined

Stupid ignorant people like this put us all at risk.
