Well unless they are members of this forum and reading this thread nothing has been achieved other than ‘blowing off steam’ which isn’t a bad thing.......but have those 2 women learned anything about their behaviour?........

Maybe being shouted at from 2 meters would have done the trick.......

Probably safer to vent off on an internet forum than have a face to face confrontation ??

Agree,

Do not put yourself in any position of danger, would it be verbal or physical, its not worth it, and you could come to harm, unless you are super fit and can handle yourself if you want to risk it.

After all is over we can vent our feelings, but in a sensible way.

These people are not well come in Camposol, as they clearly show they are not one of us, as they clearly do not care.

We are a community who looks after each other, and we are very proud of it, this difficult time has proved it.

Well done to the guy who was shopping for that old lady, I know because I saw you drop it of for her, and you refused to take any money, sorry did not get your name, but will recognise you again, and will get you a few pints when this is all over, you are clearly a CAMPOSILIAN, and we are proud of you.

Those who have not joined in, and there are a hand full only, will never be one of us, and they will always  know it, and regret it.

Camposol will be remembered in a crisis, or in its normal form, for a fantastic community, helping each other, looking out for each other, and no one can argue with this.

Those who are considering coming to retire, be very quick, after this it will be a much sort after, safe, and considerable  place,

May be next time you see the idiots, take a secret photo, and display it, I do not like telling people to do this, but our safety is paramount, and we must take all care.

...e of each other....some of us want to live through this pandemic.  Some of us have vulnerable people for whom we are shopping and to whom we return after each outing hoping we haven’t run into some selfish moron flouting the social distancing rules.  To those two women I would respectfully tell them to get a grip and try to consider the consequences of their actions. You didn’t leave enough room for other shoppers to get past at a safe distance and seemed oblivious to the dangers that people like you pose to the community at large.  If you can’t behave with consideration towards others.....STAY AT HOME!!!

Why did you not say anything to them at the time, I do when in shops in Uk, a polite reminder should be enoug

Good on you, but,in the UK, be very, very, careful, it is dangerous to confront people, they carry knives, and will attack without any thought.

May be you are fit and can take care of yourself, but best left to the police.

Many good people have lost there lives after confronting law breakers, or simply standing up to them, or getting involved in a argument, even the police will tell you, do not do it.

There are those that will, and those that won't,  neither are in the wrong, we all have our own capabilities and limitations  when dealing with situations, it's what makes up a comunity.  However, I  don't think the previous reply stating who can and can't fit into your community because of non-conformity is a bit over the top, judgemental and totally unnecessary!

Hi, that was a long time ago, in my time of 31 years which ended 2 years ago, it has drastically changed, and the use of a knife means nothing to some.

Nice words only work 1 % of the time now.

You are now up against a very unpredictable public, who will assault / attack police officers with extreme violence, and have no second thoughts about it.

The last one I saw, just laughed at the Judge for attacking a member of the public with a sword, the member of the public very politely asked the attacker could he stop swearing allowed in the street as he was walking his small grand daughter by a park.

In the same circumstances I would try a long pointed stare and just see if they react - if there was no change then quietly ask for the manager and ask him to deal with it.

So it may be, but at this time we have to support the lock down, abide by the rules for the safety of our Camposol community, some who are elderly, and frightened, again if those do not want to be part of this want to break and ignore the rules, put us all at risk,, why should they be here.

If we cannot all abide by the rules, and ignore those who break the rules and go about there normal lives, then lets all give up, and do as we please, I THINK NOT.

Sorry, but my opinion at this deadly time for us all.
