I read on another forum a couple have just driven over from uk via France to Spain. They do not yet have residency but said they showed the police their passports and nie and they were allowed through with no issues at all. They didnt want to see their deeds. They may have been lucky. I dont thin...

...k I will chance it yet

I would have thought they were extremely lucky as I thought it was only Spanish citizens and residents that are allowed in at the moment .

From what I see online, may not even need to self isolate for two weeks, as 21 st June isolating is being lifted. And ferry company did not say it’s no been told anything different.

Just had my re-arranged Jet2 flights for the 1st July cancelled - they say because of Covid restrictions?? I've rebooked again but this time with Ryanair for the 3rd July. The Jet2 flight didn't seem to be too full but the Ryanair one's almost full so here's hoping we can get back.

Thankyou

I work at a U.K. airport and many non spanish residents have been offloaded - so disallowed travel by the airline because they potentially will not be entered on arrival to Spain. Moving home probably wouldn’t be classed as essential travel during a pandemic.  You will only be guaranteed entry if travel is deemed to be essential, you are spanish or a British resident. The couple mentioned may well have been lucky or just how ‘essential’ was interpreted

I switched our original flight from 1205 to 3006 but must admit not very hopeful

However, also have flights booked in early September returning in October so as soon as regular flights are confirmed will look to switch September to as early as we can
