I would not argue that statistically it is more likely for any incident to be by someone British simply because the majority of residents on Camposol are British. However, that does not mean that ALL issues are down to the British. Every nationality has their own share of idiots

There is no apostrophe in drugs.

What living on Camposol does teach you very quickly is that many Brits are very easy to pass blame on others while they don't handle criticism very well. Alot (mind you.....I'm not saying ALL) of the bad driving on Camposol is absolutely to blame on the British (and the Spanish because they are absolutely horrible drivers). We are in Europe and Brits are used to driving on the other side of the road. Many Brits still drive around in RHD cars which don't provide the best view in traffic on European roads. I would be a terrible driver as well if I was to drive around the UK starting tomorrow, so it does not surprise me. Every day I see Brits doing stupid and dangerous stuff in traffic on Camposol. And without doubt most of the people drinking large pints at the bars at the end of the morning (and for the rest of the day) are Brits and several of them drive back home after to many drinks. I also get dirty looks regularly from (elderly) British people for walking on the right side of the pavement (which is the only correct side in Europe) and not moving over to the left side of the pavement when they approach me. 

We have some great British friends on Camposol but to be honest I think Camposol would do alot better if there was more balance between the different nationalities. You don't have to agree with me........just don't shoot the messenger.

If you look Liz's  cafe Facebook you will see someone had a Sunday lunch, which includes a bottle of wine, then spent 5 hours in Oscars on a beer fest!!?

Did they then drive home?

I agree about the bad driving & drinking of Brits, but haven´t noticed horrible driving by Spanish. In fact I find them very considerate, waiting patiently on the side roads to join the main road, or keeping sufficient distance when passing cyclists, something you never see in UK.

What pisses me off is that some Brits always blame others for anything bad and never take responsibility for their own shortcomings.
