Hi

We have been going through the process of applying for a none lucrative visa so we can retire and leave in our sons Villa

One of the items we had to produce was a criminal record of which we went on line to .GOV.UK DBS and applied of which was very detailed we got and had it translated to Spanish when we had our appointment they would not except this so they gave us an email address arco.police.com asked why answer Brexit but this email is for a firm in Korea which has cost us another $330 each just asking has anyone had to do this ?

I just went onto the site which you said you were given "arco.police.com" and this is what I received

https://www.acro.police.uk/Recognising-fraud
People also askIs Acro legit? They are not genuine, but an attempt to obtain money or personal details from members of the public. Cost: From 25th May 2018 there is no charge for this service.I would follow this up through your credit card company also I presume you had to pay for a translation.Always double check any company asking for money.

With a third country, the Spanish requirement is for a Police record check including a full fingerprint search. Your fingerprints have to be taken by the Police force in your home country.

Robert,

They are aware of this, what is of concern is paying out $330  each to a Korean company.
