Surely there is an Iceland nearby save you alot of hassle if they stop you at customs.

I am looking to bring some Xmas food for personal consumption from UK to  Spain like cake pudding mince pies etc.is it permissable ?

Hi...we arrived Sunday 30th October..we brought cheese and fresh fruit (passionfruit) and asparagus...all carried in our hand luggage...no one stopped us at security...we didn't try to hide it...only small amounts as you say for own consumption...
