Corvera Airport - Page 2

I have just done a dummy booking from Bristol to Murcia on easyjet website, no issue with booking out on 29th Jan and return flight on 12th Feb.

I have also done a dummy booking from Gatwick to Murcia on easyjet once again no issue with booking out on 28th Jan and return flight on 12th Feb.

Can`t understand the conversation you had with their Customer Service ?

Just gone on to EasyJet and can book flights to Murcia up to March (furthest they display). However, if I type in Corvera as a destination from Gatwick, Corvera is not even recognised or displayed

Can only assume flights after 15/01/2018 booked for Murcia will automatically be transferred to Corvera (there is no other option unless they switch them to Alicante...?)

So the conversation with customer service was clear about Corvera (at least for Gatwick) no flights available today and based on what they said not until the airport is officially open..?

Going to have to check weekly until it appears I guess

I understand now, from the information we are reading (albeit NOT the airline websites) it will be a straight switch, close San Javier on 14th January and open Corvera on 15th January. 

Corvera is further for us to travel...but that`s another story & our problem I suppose. 

As long as they land safely at either location, we don`t mind! 

As Alicante is not in Murcia province it will not come up as an option. The current airport is Murcia San Javier, so they should just change the last two words and it will be Aeropuerto Internacional Region de Murcia.

Flying In & out, from/to, where, exactly? New York, Bournemouth, Gawick of Gateshead or the Mull-of-Kintyre?

I have been able to book flights to Corvera from Gatwick London for most dates in 2019 but not the earlier ones (simply because we did not like the flight times)

I put the information on regarding Easyjet to try and be helpful once they had confirmed they would be using Corvera once San Javier/Murcia closes on the 14th January 2019.

So one would assume that their departure points would be the same as previous flights to SJ/MUR,  if you are interested in flights to or from Corvera I suggest you contact Easyjet directly.

However in your post you mentioned NEW YORK so not sure if Easyjet could accommodate you with that one !!

 The regional government is trying to get a service from Corvera to Madrid, which would make it easy to connect to flights to almost anywhere in the world.

We have flights booked to Murcia with Ryanair.

We have been informed by Ryanair that we will be flying to Corvera and not Murcia airport.
