F.f.

Once again you haven't got all the facts correct!!

People who have business on Camposol who have brought up family's there and those family's in turn have their family.

So whilst many are over 50yrs (as you say) there are a great many younger people on Camposol theese days, take a look at some of them in the bars, estate agents!!

Need I say more!!

That's good to know Gloria, Thanks!

Gloria 007 we have around 5,000 properties on Camposol and only a handful of residents with children...as I said the only time you see kids about on Camposol is in the UK school holidays ...you do get the constant flow of dreamers that move to Camposol with young children in tow but when they run out of the money that they brought with them ...they tend to disappear overnight never to be seen again ... Gloria 007 you have got to start being honest with people .. Spain and Camposol has nothing to offer a young family moving from the UK other than 40% unemployment ...you all so quoted the business owners on Camposol bringing up family and so on ...l have been on Camposol for 13 years and can't think of a business that hasn't changed owners ..some many times over the years... so your theory doesn't make any sense.

Ok Gloria 007 ...how many kids under the age of sixteen live on Camposol...and I made a mistake it's not 13 years on Camposol it's 15 years.

He's right.

There are very few young families on Camposol. I said earlier that My neighbours have two small boys, they are unusual.

Camposol has a predominantly rather old population.

I'm in my late forties and selling up moving in October.  I bought a property late 2018.

Brexit and COVID have certainly made things harder with uncertainty and delays. You really have to work at it to move and plan during these uncertain times.

I can certainly can pay the necessary 800 euros month to support myself but will be looking to do some contracting work back in the UK since additional income will help me sustain a better life style. You obviously need to plan in the event you can't work else you could be heading back to the UK☹️

Spain is so relaxing to the UK and if you can deal with the hot summers you have the perfect life in the sun.

Regards

Martin

Thanks for your reply Martin and sorry to hear that you're moving back to the UK....you're right, the summers are hot to work in! I guess it depends on your industry. I'm an English Teacher, so the worst I've had to endure is schlepping to and from work and the cheapest car park in Murcia city for 20 minutes 4 times a day in 40C heat...Thankfully I changed to teaching online way before Covid, so I'm one of the few lucky ones that have been minimally affected. It's sad though that Covid (and Brexit in many cases) has affected so many people's plans for the future. It IS a perfect life in the sun and there's been plenty of times I might have given up, but I'm so glad I didn't. All the best and good luck :)
