Hi SallyPieMaker - I understand where you come from, no-one indicated to us about the additional charges that could arise, most of this is historical and should have been resolved prior to either yourself or me, when we purchased, then we would have been fully aware of all costs.

What is the point in throwing good monies after bad - no point at all.

It seems to be working ok on Sector C6 - maybe it's worth asking them the pro's and cons of the Community of Owners how much they pay quarterly (I know it's dependent on size of property).

Sallypiemaker, We are in the same boat as you are, as our solicitors didn't mention anything to this effect to us. We don't know what's going to happen, but we must resist this approach by the County Hall/Council otherwise the authorities would love to walk all over us.

Let's not make this easy for them.

I bought my place 16 years ago on Camposol.

I always knew & expected that at some time in the future there would be another local tax applied.

I really do not know why estate agents or lawyers  don't know this and inform buyers  then we would not be having these conversations  

I totally agree  it is not right to just say you have to pay this that and the other. Someone said they knew years ago so why not just tell us when we buy I suppose this is how the Spanish  treat us I am sure if it was a Spanish urbanisation it would be different 

Yes, it was Spanish urbanisation, all things would have been in order.

At this point, let's find the common ground and present our case and points to the authorities without being too harsh about it.

We need ANSWERS

That would be a really good idea  to know how it is working for them. But I do feel for the people on just a pension to live on. Let's just see the outcome  after we raise the questions 

Roland, this is not helping us. I have never thought that there was going to be additional cost after many years.  Was this discussed at council meeting to invent this cost? Does this cost apply to those living outside Camposol?

If we refuse to pay the €250 per year asked for to upkeep Camposol..then believe me Camposol will fall apart in disrepair.
