I see no deletions or any reason to do so?

Well you can't see them because they've gone! Someone on here was moaning about the Spanish taking a siesta and closing their shops. So I replied quoting what he'd said and I asked why he went to live in Spain. He then replied saying he'd had enough of the immigration in the UK. Both his replies are now missing together with the quote I included!

Excessive censorship IMHO.

I too saw the insulting post regarding siestas, etc but after thinking about my response, it had already seen deleted so I was too late.

My original post was just a general query and some responses were funny which is fantastic and makes this forum amusing.  It's such a shame that some people feel the need to post rude and nasty comments.  Perhaps they just enjoy moaning and have nothing else to think about.

Back to the subject, the Chinese government gave Spain money to build its infrastructure and they have a cushy deal in return. Chinese get grants to open up these places and China sends all the stock.

Look at the product labels & you will see that quite a lot of the stuff in the Chinos is actually made in Spain.

I'm not sure that backs up your statement, a lot of UK companies are owned by the Chinese and it's usual practice to give incentives for financial investment. Most of the Chinese success in any country is their dedication to hard work and long hours. They don't go for Bank loans either, it's all kept within the family. You can't knock them for that, but it's up to you to decide if what they are selling is what you want.
