Council tax

You go to the tax office .. behind the Council office's in Mazarron..they will give you the bill you then take that bill to your bank and pay it ..you will need proof of ownership.

Set it up to be paid by Direct Debit every years saves all the hassle.

Unless of course you like standing in a queue at both the Town Hall & the Bank.

That doesn't tell me where the tax office is !!

There are several Council offices in Mazarron fortunately within the same area! If you head towards the castle you'll find them. Just go into any one of them and tell them what you are looking for. They will direct you to the right one, but be prepared for a long wait. As said above, take the paperwork to your Bank and set up a DD and the problem is then solved for the future. Well worth the hassle but you only have to do it once.

Quick tip: look on Google Earth, find the castle and then go to street view, scan around and you'll see them.

The tax office - is round the corner from the Banco Sabadell - can't miss it.

Must be a long corner then! The bank is in the main street and the Council/tax offices are down the hill by the castle. That's where I go anyway.

We went to the main offices in September to pay the IBI - the office for paying the IBI had moved to the street round the corner from Banco Sabadell. Agree that the main offices is just a bit further than round the corner!!!

Thanks for the update. Good to know, as finding the correct office can be a problem. Can you arrange DD's from the new location or do you still have to use the other office? That info might helps newbies to the system.
