Any suggestions on how to scare pigeons away ...we have tried everything from big owls and so on ...the mess is unbelievable that they leave ... maybe someone knows of a good pest control company...any help appreciated.

Have you tried bird spikes ??

They are used extensively in towns & cities in the UK.

The link is to Amazon.co.uk but I would presume you can buy similar things in Spain.

Pigeons usually only go where there is food, so make sure you don't leave anything outside for them. Your neighbours might be though!

I was at Viggos the other week and a couple of Brits thought it smart to chuck bread on the floor for the pigeons that soon flew in. When they had eaten that they were all over the tables eating bread and anything they could get their beaks into! This couple couldn't have cared less about the rest of us trying to have a meal! Pigeons are a health hazard.

Oh right you won't be able to bird spike then.

Can you turn a hose pipe on them ??

The only other option would be to get somebody in to shoot them.

( Sorry if that offends anybody )

My Villa is up for sale..so I need to sort this problem out as the pigeon droppings as unsightly for prospective buyers...l suppose the last resort would be to find someone who has a Air Rifle..( anybody on Camposol ).

I have bought life like snakes from the Chinese bazaar on B & placed them around our pool which has greatly reduced the problem we had with pigeons.

I do move the "snakes" every other day

I've head via rumour control that if you report such problems to the council under a health & safety issue they will respon

Good luck in your quest
