Since our bank has been taken over we have not been able to access our account there. We have been into the bank three times now. They say they have sent us coded number to our mobile phones but not received one.

I had loads of problems with this change of banks

To be honest it's be a real pain. The Bankia website & all its functions look like they have been set up by a 10 year old.

You will have to go back into the bank again I am afraid as this will be the only way you will get it sorted. Unlike in the UK were you would be able to sort it online.

Make sure the bank has your ( I presume ) UK mobile number dropping off the leading zero.

They should be able to sort all this in the branch there are several people that speak good English in the Mazarron branch.

I bet they haven't knocked off the zero and I didn't think to tell them. Thank you for your help

I tried to transfer funds over to my a/c in Spain only to find the Iban/swift code had changed, they obviously didn’t think it was important enough to tell me. I have flown over especially to get online access as this has been taken away, I have made numerous telephone calls to no avail, a total shambles with poor communication and poorly informed staff.

Yes agree on all fronts.

The only way I sorted out the online banking etc was to go into the bank and sort it all while you’re there. Took over an hour.

Yes thank you. We have been in three times now. Each time they say they have sorted it. We are going to Mazarron again to hopefully sort it out

They should be able to sent a test text while you are in the bank to ensure that it's all OK.

I agree that the whole change over was a complete shambles although not half as bad as the TSB ongoing fiasco in the UK.

Don't try & pay your annual car tax by online transfer with Bankia absolutely impossible to do !!

We went to the bank today. They were having problems with ATM machine. There were queues at the atm, counter and for the englis h speaking lady who sits at the desk. We waited  half an hour and decided to give up.

think we are going to try and change banks with the help of our solicitor. Amazing how we can pay money in but not access the account on line.
