Poligono's are areas within the Camposol Urbanisation.

There is a map showing which are private & which are public roads.

I will see if I can find it for you.

Found it here.

Go to the very end of this article & you will see a list of the public & private streets

Many thanks for the summary of the meeting (couldn´t attend due myself due to illness).

The fact that MASA was ´sacked´ by the (previous) Mazarrón council before it went bankrupt, was unknown to me and seems rather significant w.r.t. the responsibility of the current (and future) councils for the issue at hand!

Can the relevant documentation, that was shown/referred to,  be found in the public domain ? If so, where?

Linda Biggs, who was at the meeting, has supporting documents. Which are a matter of record at the Council.
The fact that a previous Council kicked Masa off Camposol is undeniable.

The Mayor must know this. Like previous Mayors, I'm pretty sure that he will be ignoring the handed down responsibility.

It would probably take legal action and a court direction to force the Council to accept their responsibility for 'finishing' Camposol.

Tony1948 if the residents decide to take a legal route, who will be paying for this??? I for one will not contribute to a court case that Camposol residents will no doubt lose.

A good question. Which brings other questions.

1. Which residents?
2. How many? What proportion of Camposol owner could be deemed as representative to support the legal action?
3. Under what banner? There is the CRA, which only has a small proportion of Camposol residents as its membership and has had rather close links with PSOE (The Mayor's political party!). ??

I rather suspect that it may well not be a workable proposition.

I understand there is a lot of hostility towards setting up the Community Of Owners - wouldn't it be more worthwhile in putting our efforts into setting up Community of Owners - than dragging out the inevitable. I have a property within Sector D and on a private road - I will be affected in paying quarterly charges, I'd rather that our efforts were put into something that is more achievable than a pipe dream of Mazarron Council backing down and resolving all issues.

There will not be a Camposol wide 'Community of Owner's (aka an Entity). The feeling against that was clearly expressed at the meeting last Friday and the Mayor confirmed that it would not be happening. Camposol will remain under the Aegis of Mazarron Council.

Separate 'Communities of Owners' for each polygono will likely eventually happen, as are apparently required in our deeds.
However, with so many empty properties or properties with absent owners, as well as some that simply don't pay the local taxes due, that is going to be problematic. I would bet there will be many who will simply refuse to engage.

Still no idea what constitutes a polygono. Might just ask Mercers next time we are out
