There is a pig farm next to Camposol. It runs along side of lower C Sector.

Yes there is a pig farm. I smell it almost every day ! Not really fun for a  vegan

No! pigs will eat meat. Feeding a body to pigs was a favourite way for the mobs to dispose of bodies and the have been several cases of individuals using this method of disposal.

The point I was making, is do not be negative, I do believe that the pig farm does not, impact the fly situation any more than swill bins around the restaurants  etc. Spain is certainly warmer than the UK so the fly situation is more prevalent.

I agree with you

Thank you for your reply, it was most helpful as we have been looking at a house on sector A and needed some independent information.

It would be better if it was 30miles away not 3 miles as, if it ever got permission to go ahead I'm sure the smell and the flies would still be a problem.

kind regards.

We live in Fuente Álamo area the smell and flies are nit horrendous near a pig farm. Ok when a load of pigs are loaded into trucks to go for slaughter the vacated pig house us sluiced before the next batch if pigs. The slurry gies into a holding pit and the sun dries it before it is sold to local farmers to feed crops, trees and tomato houses. Flies are a problem everywhere in summer, there are as many in Camposol, sometimes a lot more than we have. If you want to live in a rural location, Camposol is rural, then these are some of the problems if country living.

Pigs are tasty ??? Yest with oil, butter, sauce, herbs, barbecued etc. I would see you hunt an animal, kill it, skin it, cut it in pieces and eat it like that. Just like any other animal....it only has the taste of blood. Keep fooling yourself to believe we need meat, just to satisfy your gluttony. All chronic diseases come from eating meat and dairy, including cancer. Breast cancer from growth hormone and anibiotics in cows milk, and intestinal cancer from the rotting meat in your bowels. Good luck !
