Having read the posts on this thread we went to find the market for the first. It is indeed huge but for the first time since moving here feel the need for a negative post. The many fruit and veg stalls all seem to sell the same low standard produce and some of the clothes stalls resembled a jumble sale, huge, random, piles on paste tables. Overall not a good experience, nothing to inspire a return visit. On a plus side a nice walk and lunch on the seafront afterwards :-)
Hey such a gloomy response - what do expect - same old, same old market but some are quite okay - try Thursday Camposol A market. Market are markets - I see trips advertied to Benidorm market hey ho don't go there. But as I say markets are markets but I have heard that Totana on a Wednesday is good.
Yes and huge choice if fruits and veggies, all very fresh
I think the fruit & veg is probably rejects from the local pack houses. Perfectly good but not suitable for Mr Tesco.
Never mind the clothes get a roast chicken from the guys at the Bolnuveo side of the market. Beautiful !!
The clothes are not good quality neither are they at Totana market on Wednesdays. Nicer clothes on secrir A on Thursday. And I prefer the fruit and vegetables that perhaps look not so perfect than those sprayed with wax for shine in the supermarkets.
