Hello,
can anyone recommend a car hire company at Alicante airport that has fair prices and you don't have to take a shuttle? We have to return the car at 4.00 am. The counters are closed at that time. Is it OK to leave the car in a key box?

Record car hire never had a problem
On NO account, use Goldcar ....... they try to scare people into taking out extras when collecting the car, they reversed a process on my credit card twice, forcing me to take out their insurance (credit card company confirmed by email that authorisation had been given by them) and they are well known for adding charges to vehicles being returned to airports, after the customer has left on a flight.

Remember as from May the speed limit on minor roads will be 30kph so walking pace beware leaving airport

We have done this using Flamenco many times, no problems. Also this time, we are using AH Cars situated in Camposol. They pick you up, and drop you off at the airport, and have your hire car waiting for you at your destination.
