As a holiday home owner and a victim of burglary I would certainly pay my share of any increased IBI payment and would not be looking for a free ride. Us holiday home owners don’t try and claim refunds for the time we are not there so why anyone would think we want a free ride is beyond me.

Could be a idea also to have a group of residents sitting out side the entrance to Camposol, on the spare ground of the garden centre, and write down all the car plates coming and going after dark, it will then make the scum aware we are after them.

Yes there may be other ways in and out of Camposol, but subject to what they are stealing, they will need transport.

If they are not tracked down, and still brake ins occur, we have to then wonder are the scum living amongst us?

Just ideas, but it takes action to sort.

I used to patrol the streets of sector D for hours and do rooftop watches. Hardly saw anyone else bothering so gave up.  Putting myself at risk. Moved off Camposol.   My mother still lives there though and is frightened. The police do not care.
