Brilliant opportunity to get Camposol back to a safe haven, where we and our homes are safe.  Well done Pedro.

Let everyone get together, even those who think we live in the Wild West!!! Sign the petition.  We need EVERYBODY.

GOOD LUCK to Camposol and all who reside there.

Bang on, its our one and only chance, so whats the problem with people, we need police, we need assistance, we need help, for gods sake how do we convince residents.

Agree, it started then stopped, no one will give support, or security to Camposol, unless we fight for it ourselves.

No one wanted to pay 5 Euros a month for possible 2 police officers, and a possible small police station.

If only 2000 residents did this, we would be on a winner, as usual, every one found fault with the idea, or thought it did not concern them, so reap what we sow.

IBI is payed by all, but nothing comes back to us for Camposol, sorry, yes it does, A ROAD SWEEPER.

If we do not support some one who is trying to help us, then it all goes back to square one, and thats nothing, down to us.

Quite a few people do not pay IBI on Camposol, we have heard various statements used to justify this: we only use the villa a few weeks per year so we don’t use the facilities: Niching gets done so I don’t pay IBI. We have even heard people moaning that all Mazarrón is interested in is the Country Club.

NIE number has to be produced many times in Spain, it is a financial number, there is nothing personal about it.

HI ALL,

EVERY ONE PLEASE ENSURE YOU GIVE YOUR SUPPORT BY SIGNING THE PETITION PUT UP BY PEDRO MENDEZ.

YOU CAN SIGN IT IN HIS SHOP ON SECTOR B, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE FUTURE OF CAMPOSOL, AND NO GOOD IF SOME ONE IS PREPARED TO STAND UP FOR US ALL AND WE DO NOT GIVE OUR SUPPORT.

WE NEED THIS, SO LETS SUPPORT IT.

READ ALSO THE WRITE UP ON FACE BOOK ABOUT IT.

ITS BEEN A LONG TIME TO GET US NOTICED, NOW ITS OUR TURN TO GET TO THE FRONT FOR WHAT WE NEED,

WE WILL PROBABLY NEVER GET ANOTHER CHANCE, ITS OUR FUTURE.

Hi

Both me and my wife signed the petition today and there were several other people waiting to sign only your name, signature & NIE required and they need at least 1000 signatures before they can progress the petition.

Phil.

The Mazarron Council will not accept any signature without an NIE, on a petition..

One has to provide an NIE for lots of things in Spain. It's not an issue.

If you don't pay IBI and you own the property, the Council can and will place an embargo on the property.

Which may cause issues if you decide to sell. They will  take all outstanding IBI charges and a fine from the sale money.

In addition, if you wish to rent the property out legally. They'll jump on that too.

If you bought a property in Spain, you are liable for IBI.

Trying to hide under the radar is not fair on everyone who abides by the rules.

You should read through this.

Not paying IBI, you risk losing your property.

I do agree in principle with Sunnyspain and others about personal data, and data protection, in reality, there is not much protection. If you shop online or just browsing the nett all your personal data are out there on the world wide webb, how often have you received junk mail on your computer from companies that you did not give your mail address, The point I am making is that all your data is already out there unprotected, so if you are asked to sign a petition, the organizers only want to be sure it is a genuine signature when they ask for your NIE. So come on Sunnyspain get on board we all need each other, lets all enjoy Sunny Spain on Camposol

I know of embargoes, a friend in the port sold her property to someone from .Camposol, all sorts of problems as the Camposol property had an embargo against it.

There are those that will look for any excuse, to do nothing. The explaination is there, signatures are not valid unless accompanied by NIE. So every one take this opportunity, to try and improve our security on Camposol.
