In good conditions a a fit person should do it in under an hour.
However.
I REALLY would not advise attempting it in high summer.
FAST ( http://www.fast2016.org/ ) have attended to people with severe dehydration and even sun stroke.
If you live on Camposol Sector D, you need a means of transport.

Phil
Play nice !! :)
4 miles x1.62 = 6.48 kilometres. That distance from the tail end of Sector D to the Sector B shops, is an approximation.
Do not try that in high summer without appropriate sun protection & on board water.
There is NO shelter.

Well, I thought that being as the guy is going to be new to Spain and coming from the UK, he would probably be thinking about things in miles rather than km, so think about other people PhilTox, instead of being condescending, just for the sake of it!
Just get a car !!!. Much more convenient and allows for a weekly shop which cannot be carried by hand in the heat

It was a gag, and a harmless one at that.
I learned how to convert miles <> kilomietres over 60 years ago. I believe the metric system has been covered in schools since then.
Every car sold in the UK for the past several decades has a speedometer that reads in kilometres as well as miles.
If one is going to live in Spain & use the roads, one must be able to encompass kilometres.

I do when I'm over there but not in the UK and just thought I was being helpful to the guy, but it is what it is, lol
Four miles! I had not ventured much past the old hotel. Are there more shops etc?

There are no shops on D Sector. There is a five a side football pitch and a church. The golf course/club house/old hotel are the facilities on C sector. B sector has a range of shops/bars/restaurants,vets, opticians etc, as has A sector, which also has both public and private health centres, a business centre, a children’s playground etc. Hope that helps.
