At the recent residents meeting held at Mariano’s on 8th February, the mayor did announce that all residents would be able to obtain Licences of First Occupatiob (known as Certificates of Havitation). There was no explanation as to the mechanisms for this to be achieved. As things stand, it appears that those on A sector have a greater chance of obtaining them. Houses that are designated as Touristico and those impacted by the Rambla de Los Aznares on D sector are apparently not yet eligible. Probably the best best is to apply directly to the council and see what they say. Some houses on B, C and D definitely have them, but how many, nobody knows.
