Did you rent first

No we came to visit for a weekend. We pre arranged a viewing for the private sale but arranged viewings with blue med. We saw about 7 in total through blue med but offered the full asking price on the private sale in November 2018. We have now been living here full time since July last year on D sector. We now have our residencia and swapped our driving licences.

We considered a property with a pool but decided against it. Glad we did as we would only have been able to use it a couple of months of the year.

We have a hot tub on the roof terrace and use it nearly every day.

Today we have been in and out of it and sunbathing as around 24 degrees. Its a hard life early retirement lol

Good luck. Im sure you won't regret it. We have no regrets so far and love the peace and quiet on D sector.

I have met people on this forum that have also bought on D and now call them our friends and when we can we meet up which is lovely

We bought on Sector D March 2019, bought the property from Luz Del Sol, we viewed at least 10 properties over a long weekend. We did view properties with Mercer's but chose a property with Luz Del Sol.

It might be a daft question but why could you only use the pool for a couple of months? We are also looking to move to Spain in the next year and a pool was high on our list.

Thanks

Ernie

Because if its not heated it will be far too cold to use.

As Sunnyspain said, the pools heated by the sun only  are used for about 3 months a year. If you want to use your pool all year round you will need to heat it. It is quite possible, just a bit expensive.  I would  def look into different  methods.
