Mmmm I don't think this information is accurate at all.

Where is the OFFICIAL announcement or document that about the name change & the taking over of Sector A by the Mazarron Council ??

A link to the document ( s ) would be helpful if anybody has one.

Camposol was the name given to this development by Masa when they started to build on the land known as Los Palacios. When I first came here the locals referred to Camposol as Los Palacios. In 2004 I bought a Tom Tom sat nav which I still have and it does not show Camposol, it shows Los Palacios. Los palacios was famous from the 1800's as the waste dumping ground of the Mazarron mines which explains why there are large quantities of rocks especially on what is now known as A sector as that was where the railway line from the mines terminated.

As for the adoption of A sector I would be sceptical even though there has been much written in the local press, after all Mazarron Council announced that they were adopting the whole of Camposol just before the last council elections. We had street cleaning vehicles everywhere, all white lines were repainted and then after the election it was announced that they would not be adopting Camposol.

Hi all

Well maybe my information may be very incorrect but camposol A was know as El Saladillo if you put this name in your PC this is what you will get.

Recognise any of the names

Map of 30870 El Saladillo, Murcia

Kind regards

ED

Well whatever Camposol A sector was know as before ...is immaterial it has been renamed Los palocios by the Mazarron council... But who cares anyway it will always be known as sector A.

The CRA web site   ...infact it was last year when the council started adoption of Sector A...  around the time they  started to give  Habitation certs for sector A   ...it has even been given a name ...I think the council named it (Los Palacios ) .but not to sure if the ...

...spelling is correct.

I've heard it's the CRA who call it Los Palacios, and Mazarron council doesn't like or accept this

If Tony has a link to an OFFICIAL document perhaps he can post it.

When he gets back from the pub........

Tony down the pub got the information straight from the horse's mouth... His drinking mate Dick told him and Dick is always right.
