That is very negative Frequent Flyer. Our property came with all brand new furniture and white goods, we had to take the plastic off the mattresses and stickers off the white goods. Everything was pristine. Not "shagged out" at all!

When I bought my villa it was only 3 months old ..it was extremely well furnished ( not Massa ) everything brand New or as new / dishwasher/ washing machine/55" TV and so on and I did not pay any extra tax when buying ... when I agree a cash price I only paid tax on the building I bought nothing else...I have not come across anyone that has paid tax on furniture .

If your purchase price included the furniture then you paid 8% tax on both. The cost of our furniture was taken off the property price so we paid less at 8% and the furniture was 4%. E.g. on 100000 purchase including furniture deduct say 10000 for furniture so pay 8% on 90k and 4% on 10k

As said before ..I bought the buildings/ land...and paid Tax as a resale even though it was only 3 months old ..the villa was completely furnished / most still in boxes this was left for us we did not pay a penny for it .
